Again, far from a shock, but Sega have announced the release of this year's instalement of their exceptionally popular management franchise, creatively titled Football Manager 2011. I am personally a huge fan of the franchise, and am delighted to hear that, as with every year, the team are trying to add new features in order to bring depth to the game as opposed to just churn out the same version with a new skin and updated database.
Soccer Gaming is hoping to have an official Football Manager correspondant in the next couple of weeks but until that occurs, some of the features you can expect to see in FM 2011 include:
* Real Time Contract Negotiations With Players
* A More Hands On Approach Using Player Agents
* Improved Interaction With Your Board, Staff & Players
* New Training Modes Including A Featured Dubbed ‘Match Preperation;
* Improved 3D Match Engine Including New Stadiums, 100+ New Animations & Floodlit Night Matches
More features will be announced closer to the time, but very snazzy official website www.footballmanager.com can be vistted by clicking the link, and whilst not particularly lending itself to live video action, their is a brieft announcement video highlighting some of the features on that main page.

Creative Director Gary Paterson played a game of FIFA 11 against Associate Producer Aaron Mchardy to prove once and for all who was the best! Check out this video for all the action.
The following interview was conducted on behalf of PES Gaming, and has addressed issues raised by members of the PES Gaming community. I would like to publicly thank Jon for his time, and hopefully the Soccer Gaming community will find the interview informative!
Question from community member MagicaRoma – PES has always been developed in the Asian market, which is obviously a very different culture to the Western markets, in particular Europe. In your opinion do you feel PES is limited by the way Konami oper...
Old news perhaps, but more light has been shed on the new FIFA 11 feature, Become A Goalkeeper. In recent versions, it has not been possible to control your GK other than for kicking purposes, however FIFA 11 will allow players to use the keeper as a choice when playing the Be A Pro game mode. With any feature involving GK, the trick is finding the balance between realism and enjoyment, and EA Sports have included a variety of additions to aid the budding stoppers out there.
EA have just released full FIFA 11 demo details for both console and PC.
